How it works

How insurance verification works

Our team checks your speech therapy benefits and explains the next steps before services begin.

Four steps

  • Request a free consultation and provide your insurance information through the secure intake process.

  • TalkTime verifies benefits, referral requirements, authorization requirements, and expected member responsibility.

  • A team member contacts you within 48 business hours with available next steps.

  • Services begin after clinical matching and any required authorization are complete.

Additional funding pathways

Private pay, with rates discussed during consultation. Self-Determination Program funding. ELARC and SCLARC authorizations for eligible birth-to-3 speech services. School and district contracts.

What to know about your plan

Deductibles, copayments, coinsurance, visit limits, exclusions, and medical-necessity requirements may apply. Network participation can change, so contact TalkTime to verify your current benefits.
